New Privacy Settings

I used to use MySpace about 3 years ago and the other day I decided I would just log in to see if anyone still used it or if I had any notifications/message/requests. After logging in the page redirected me to a page outlining new privacy settings that had been established.

Also, on the 26th of March I received the following update in my facebook inbox.

I found this to be very interesting. Maybe social networking sites such as MySpace and facebook are becoming increasingly aware of the (often) media-fuelled controversy regarding privacy settings and options.
